In the spring of 2024, I had the honor of working as an Art Intern at HeadCount

What is HeadCount?
HeadCount is a non-profit organization that help Americans register to vote through the power of music.

What did you do at HeadCount?
As the assistant to the only Graphic Designer at the organization, a lot of my work included creating social media graphics form giveaways. A few times a month I got the possibility to create designs beyond the guidelines of sweepstakes.

Furthermore, I got the opportunity to refresh the Pride page on their Website, with the aim to create a timeless and user friendly interface for young voters. The update page has not yet been published as of June 2024.

What was your favorite part?
Aside from the website, I enjoyed working with patternmaking for merchandice, but also the illustrative infographics where I could be playful.

What were the most important lessons you learned?
At HeadCount I learned about the importance of messaging, efficiency and attention.
